About Me...

I have always had aspiration for design. I’m a native Californian with an extensive background in all aspects of design. I studied at the Design Institute of San Diego with an emphasis in interior architecture, which lead to my current position in entertainment. Currently, I work full-time at Sony Pictures Entertainment in the Art Department on the hit television show, "Wheel of Fortune." I have held my position since 2001 and have been an integral part of the Art Department. Our show travels throughout the country every third month, where we not only re-create the stage set up, but organize, conceptualize, and coordinate the entire venue to accommodate our crews, sets, talent, audience and press. This allows me to take-in the entire country, evaluating the different markets, resulting in future merchandising ventures.

I have been working diligently on the side--whenever possible--in fashion, wardrobe, and styling. Two years ago, I started an independent jewelry design firm named Shaun Michael Design. My rings have been featured in many publications, both on-line and in national/international print magazines, music videos, photo shoots on both coasts, and feature films. They have also been auctioned off at charity fundraisers in an effort to raise money as a way to give back to the community.

My eye for style, color, and "the next big thing," present an incredible opportunity for not only myself, but everyone in my life.

I am extremely passionate and excited about my future. Both my professional and social experiences have helped to developed products which reach a large demographic. I travel the world experiencing different cultures which have influenced my product line and also spark my future design aspirations.
